Thank you for your purchase! We want you to be completely satisfied with your cutting board. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please review our return policy below.

 

Returns & Exchanges

 

All returns require prior authorization and are at the sole discretion of Sawyer’s Bench. Please send an email to return@sawyersbench.com with your order and contact information and a representative will reach out to you.

 

1.        Eligibility:  You may return or exchange your cutting board within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the product not damaged, is unused, in its original condition. All returns must include the original packaging, and any accompanying accessories or documents. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from customer receipt of order. All authorized returns must be received at Sawyer’s Bench within 10 business days of authorization, in the original packaging, and sent insured.

2.        Non-defective Items:  All non-defective return items will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Original and return shipping costs of non-defective items will be the responsibility of the customer.

3.        Damaged or Defective Items:
If your cutting board arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. Natural characteristics of wood such as coloration, pin knots, sapwood, etc., are not considered a defect.

4.        Non-returnable Items:
Items that have been used or modified in any way cannot be returned or exchanged.

5.        Return Process:
To initiate a return, please contact our team at: return@sawyersbench.com.  Damage that occurs during return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer.

6.        Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, minus any shipping charges. Please note, refunds may take up to 7-10 business days to process, depending on your payment provider.

7.        Shipping Costs:
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or damaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return to ensure it is safely delivered to us.

8.        Exchanges:
We will exchange your cutting board for another model or size. Exchanges will be processed once we receive the original returned item. Additional shipping charges may apply.

9.    Special Orders:  Due to the customer specific nature of special orders, special order boards are not eligible for returns. Exclusions are for damages during shipping or manufacturing defects.
