Handcrafted hallway bench featuring a solid black walnut top, 53" × 16"× 1.75" thick. The walnut top is book matched with the lighter sapwood centered, creating a natural river-like stripe running the length of the seat. The base is solid beech in a simple country style, stained jet black. Tapered legs are joined by a gently radiused cross brace between each pair for added strength and subtle detail. Finished with a hard wax oil for the perfect luster and protection.
